1925 - 2015
Elda LeBlanc, 90, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, October 2nd, 2015, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Painsec, NB, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and the late Anita (née: LeBlanc) Gould.
Mrs. LeBlanc was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe, Notre-Dame-de-Lorette parish and the Catholic Women’s League.
She is survived by three daughters: Annette of Dieppe, Maria (Rick Horsley) of Saskatoon, SK and Gisèle (Tim) Westfield of Dieppe; four sons: Robert (Marie) of Moncton, Eddie (Rachel) of Saint John, Hervé (Noëlla) of Dieppe and Roger (Diane) of Greater Lakeburn; one sister, Florence Bourgeois of Grande-Digue; three brothers: Edouard (Angela) Gould of Shediac, Alfred (Bertha) Gould of Dieppe and Aurèle Gould of Repentigny, QC; 16 grandchildren: Julie, Jamie, Chantal, Manuel, Pierre, Jeremie, Janique, Mathieu, Marcel, Jacques, Sarah, Adam, Jessica, Samuel, Michelle and Santina; 25 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eric E. in 2004; one daughter, Bernice; two sisters: Albertine and Marie and also by three brothers: Emile, Antonio and Gerard.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday from 9 am until time of departure.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, N.B., on Monday, October 5th, 2015 at 10 am.
Internment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB
Donations to Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
