Passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer, October 1, 2015 Pat Murray of Kelligrews, just short of his 84th birthday. Predeceased by his daughter Sarah Jacinta (1997). Leaving to mourn his wife of 63 years, Stella (Wakeham), 6 sons, John (Judy), Gerard (Andrea), Randy (Jacinthe), Patrick (Louisa), Ken (Cheryl), and Dan. Three daughters, Tisch Hickey (Paul), Deborah (Miller Ayre), Sharon (Bill Bazylinski), 16 Grandchildren, Carl, Ian, Ashley, Kayla, Michael, Isabelle, Adam, Mitchell, Jean Yves, Martine, Heather, Lauren, Monique, Ryan, Nicholas and Lindsay. 5 Great grandchildren. Sister, Marg Yadon (U.S.), sister in law Mary Kennedy (U.S.). Pat was a member of the Knights of Columbus, was dedicated to his church and faith at St. Edward's Parish as a Eucharistic Minister and a Member of the Parish Council. The family would like to thank Father Bill Promroy for his support and visits and Dr. Tom Brien for his care and help throughout this trying time, your kindness will be remembered. Cremation has taken place and the family will be taking visitors at Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews, Sunday, October 4, 2015, 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Edward's Parish, Monday, October 5, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow. (For those attending the Mass please follow the detour directions for St. Edwards School.) Because of his love of gardening flowers are gratefully accepted.
