DAIGLE, YVON
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Yvon Daigle, 76, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton, NB on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Born in Guimond Village, he was the son of the late Xavier Daigle and late Anita (Richard) Daigle.
Yvon was considered a "Jack of All Trades", working as a laborer, fisherman and truck driver. He was an avid hunter and loved to go fishing in his spare time.
Yvon will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Claudette (Vautour) Daigle; his nine children, Rita Comeau (Renald), Nectaire (Huguette), Marie Doucet (Norman), Albert (Denise), Antoine (Gisele), Anne Hurley (Tim), Debbie-Sue, Exavier (Christy), Laurent; eight grandchildren, Chantal (Stéphane), Fabien, Véronique, Mélanise (Alex), Julien (Isabelle), Gabriel (Mélanie), Sébastien, Kayla; three great-grandchildren, Maïka, Mikel and Kate. He is also survived by one sister, Jeannine Robichaud (Arthur); four brothers, Germain (June), Omer (Sharon), Firmin (Elmonde), Donald (Françoise); three sisters-in-law, Anna, Carmel, Irma and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Antoinette Robichaud (late Gilbert), Louise Comeau (late Pascal); three brothers Delore, Adrien, Normand and his in-laws, Ange and Anna Vautour.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Friday at 5:00 pm until departure for the funeral . A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm, St. Louis de Francais Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Interment will be held in Claire-Fontaine, St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
