It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie (Watkins) McNeil on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Sadie (MacIntyre) Watkins.She is survived by her loving husband, Leo; sons, Jackie (Irene), Leo Jr. (Francine), Harold, Kevin (Maxine) and Bradly; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Debbie; son Charlie and siblings, Mickey, Bucky, Buddy, Syl, Margaret and Freda, grandchildren, Bobby Joe, Tyler and Justin.
At Marjorie’s request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care of Curry’s Glace Bay Funeral Home, 775 Main St. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 10 a.m. at St Anne’s Church. The Rev Leo Boone will be officiating. The interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
