SOWERS, FREDERICA JEAN "JEANNIE"
The passing of Frederica Jean “Jeannie” Sowers, of Old Springfield, NB, occurred on October 3, 2015 at her home. Born on January 18, 1953 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Maxine (Moore) MacBean.
Jeannie was an Accountant with the Provincial Government. She was a very caring and giving person, helping out everyone weather she knew you for just 5 minutes or a lifetime.
Jeannie is survived by her son, Travis Sowers (Becky McGeehan); her daughter, Shelley Sowers (Shawn Guthrie); her grandson, Samuel Sowers; her sisters, Veronica and Edwina MacBean; her brother, David MacBean (Shelley) and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Gillies.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm.
