Slipped away into eternal rest surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, September 11, 2015 age 57 years. Predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and Richard Power. Left to celebrate her life is her partner and love of her life, Gordon Shea, her three sons, Chuck (Chantal), Justin and Jordan and step-son, Greg, as well as her grandchildren, Adison, Nicholas and Alyssa. Also leaving to mourn her loss are her siblings, Walter, Eleanor, Clara, Ann, Rose, Ferg, Gerald, Rick, and Brian, as well as many members of the Shea Family, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. As Marilyn had dedicated her whole life to medicine, she has donated herself to medical science and it is at her request there be no visitation or funeral services. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice.
