The death occurred suddenly at home on Thursday, October 8, 2015, Robert Green MacMurdo of North Bedeque aged 87 years. Born in North Bedeque on April 18, 1928, son of the late Norman and Elizabeth (Green) MacMurdo. Husband of Marion (Taylor) MacMurdo. Father of Debra Martin; James (Barbara) MacMurdo and Gloria (Melvin) Birch. Grandfather of Penny (Randy) Perry; Jamie (Brandi) MacMurdo; Shawn (Jennifer) Birch, Cory (Juliana) Birch, Dana (Sarah) Birch; Melanie (Chris) Burchell and Aaron (Susan) Taylor as well as 12 great-grandchildren. Brother of Janet (Denton) Clark. Brother-in-law of Eric (Georgie) Taylor and Edgar (Irene) Taylor. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his granddaughter Holly MacMurdo, great-granddaughter Courtney Perry, brother Doug (Anna) MacMurdo and sister Norma (Ralph) MacFarlane. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the North Bedeque Cemetery.
