It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved Mom, Jean Doreen (Howe) LeBreton, wife of the late Joseph (Bob) LeBreton, which occurred on Wednesday, October 7th 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Jean was born on May 9th, 1939 to the late William Howe and Myrtle Best.

Jean worked many years at the Church of Saint John and Saint Stephen Nursing Home as a Nursing Assistant. She loved and lived for her family. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and enjoyed playing bingo. She also enjoyed playing online games on her computer.

Jean is survived by her children; Deborah Spellman, Stephen (Kelly) LeBreton of Saint John, Bobby (Karen) LeBreton of Edmonton, Tony (Lisa) LeBreton, Mary (Tim) Furlong of Saint John, Jean (Gerry) Brewer of Edmonton and Allen (Tisha) LeBreton of Baxters Corner.

She is also survived by siblings; Sandra Gommer of Grand Bay, Donald Howe of Sussex, Winnifred Rogers of Quispamsis and Fred Howe of Ontario. 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special friend, Dave Stewart.

Along with her husband and parents, Jean is predeceased by her eldest grandson, David Spellman, Buster (William), Ronald, Dorothy, Ann, Norma and Betty.

Jean will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, October 13th 2015 between 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Chapel on Wednesday, October 14th 2015 at 11 AM. Interment will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.

Memorial Donations in memory of Jean may be placed towards a charity of your choice.
