It is with great sadness that the family of the late Laura Biggin of Port Saunders announces her passing on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Jane (Lawrence) House, Nora (Harvey) Cullihall, Grace (Bill) Gould, Kay (Lorne) Penney, and Velda (Rob) House; sons: Clyde, Terry (Evelyn), Jim (Lillian), Chris (Fern) and Quinn; son-in-law Kirby Canning and daughter-in-law Lenora Biggin; 31 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and an extensive circle of friends. She is predeceased by her husband, George, her father and mother Elijah and May Styles, son Reg Biggin, daughter Sherry Canning, grandsons, Baby Boy Kirby Canning and Brent Biggin, sisters Miriam House, Naomi Biggin and Grace Patey and brother, Cline Styles. Visitation took place at Good Tidings Pentecostal Assembly, Port Saunders on Saturday and Sunday from where the funeral service was held on Monday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at Sandy Cove Interfaith Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.fillatres.ca or with any family member.
