It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Gordon Parsons announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Sunday October 11, 2015 at the age of 74 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Grace (nee Pardy); children: Darlene (Stephen Petipas), and Andrew Parsons (Judy); grandchildren: Vanessa, Jonathan, Matthew, and Sarah; sisters: Elizabeth "Betty" Carey and Diane Crocker; brothers: Charles, David, and Paul and families, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Reatha and Charles Parsons; step-mother Christine Parsons; brothers: William, Marwood, Ronald, Fredrick, Joseph, Andrew, Henry, and Charles; sisters: Jeannine, Dorothy, Martha, and Helen. In keeping with Gordon's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Country Haven Funeral Chapel, with The Very Reverend Baxter Park officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the V.O.N.
