Passed peacefully away Sunday October 11, 2015 at the Health Science Center after a short but courageous battle with cancer. We are eternally grateful for her 72 years on this earth, but deeply saddened by our loss. Predeceased by her parents Angela & Edward Everard, brother Bren, sister Helen (& husband Walter) Dicks. Left with many happy & loving memories are beloved husband Ralph; children Susan (David Dodge), Mark (Kelly), & Melissa (Stephen Power); cherished grandchildren Michael, Amy & Anna Dodge; Devin, Tyler & Kyle Skanes; & Sydney Power, as well as her favorite four legged companion Nick. Also survived by brother Gerald (Judy), sister Patsy (Mike Martin) & sister-in-law Helen Everard, as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Mom leaves behind a large circle of friends. We are especially grateful to Cathy, Joan & Betty, who provided support & friendship throughout this difficult time. Mom thoroughly enjoyed bowling with the Corpus Christi bowling league and her daily swim at the Mews Centre. Mom loved her nights of "club", the CN Spikes & her games of Rumoli. She was an enthusiastic sports fan & especially passionate for her Boston Bruins & the Toronto Blue Jays. A heartfelt thank you to the inspiring nurses of 4 North A. We are very grateful to Drs. Erin Powell, Jonathan Greenland, Karen Downton, Joe Lockyer, & David Hart, as well as the staff of the Health Science Centre & cancer clinic. Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Cauls Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road Wednesday October 14th from 12-4 & 6-9pm. Funeral service on Thursday Oct. 15th, 9:30am from Corpus Christi Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center or Daffodil Place.
