Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on October 11, 2015 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his first wife of 42 years, Annie (nee Mahoney). Leaving to mourn his wife Muriel; his children, Marie St. Aubin, Michael, Carmel Noel (Joe), Raymond (Gail), Hubert (Rosalyn), Bernadette Tucker (Sean), Brendan (Candi), Brian (Toni) and Wayne (Joyce), 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place at Walter's request and a private burial will be held at a later date.
