The death occurred peacefully at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary, on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, of Alfreda F. Myers, formerly of St. Lawrence, aged 101 years. Wife of the late Ernest Myers. She was born in Hope River, P.E.I., on March 9, 1914, the daughter of the late Richard and Ann nee Sentner Delaney. Dear mother to Frank (Leona), George Ivan (Marie, deceased), Donald (deceased), Pauline O’Halloran (Ray), Beulah Costain (Bill), Jean Ostofi (deceased, Gary) and Carl (Marg). Loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren, one of whom is deceased, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Ann, siblings Margaret, John, Melvina, Austin and brothers-in-law Edward, Percy, Frank, John, William and James, and sister-in-law Mary. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd., Palmer Road, for visiting hours Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to Immaculate Conception Church Restoration or Cemetery Fund or Margaret Stewart Ellis Home Social Program Fund would be greatly appreciated. www.peifuneralcoops.com
