Irene Catherine Verstripin aka Verstrepen
(Renebean) born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, to George Verstrepen and Beatrice Doucette. Irene's heart was and is in Cape Breton. A proud coal miner's daughter.
Peacefully at the QCH Ottawa, Ontario.
Survived and will be profoundly missed by; daughter Linda Colbert Ness (William), son James (Suzanne), granddaughters Jennifer and Charlene; grandson Travis
great-grandchildren, Haylie, Lily and Abby. Survived by siblings Angel, Bridget, David, Albert, Wayne, Diane, Elaine and Sue Maki.
Predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Alphonse his beloved Dora,Victor his beloved Leona, Robert his beloved Cathy.
Irene will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
