The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 of Blaine Compton, of St. Eleanors, aged 49 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of Marie (MacCallum) Compton and the late Wendell Compton. Survived by his wife Darlene (Pye) Compton; children Kyle and Sara; brothers Steven (Noella), Randy (Janeen Grigg) and Michael (Renee Pierce); nieces Samantha, Lisa and Marty; mother-in-law Sue Pye; father-in-law Lorne (Barb) Pye; brother-in-law Andy Pye; and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. No visiting hours by request. A reception, for family and friends, will be held following the service on Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the St. Eleanors Community Centre/Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Blaine Compton Children’s Trust Fund would be appreciated.
