Leah Kathleen Hiscock - 67, of Canning, Kings County, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the home of her daughter, Kimberley in Kentville. Born in Habitant, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Kathleen (McNutt) Greenough. In her younger years, she worked at Manuel's Restaurant, Canning. Leah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Kimberley, Kentville; a son, Joey (Tammy), New Minas; cherished granddaughters, Amanda Hazel, Coldbrook and Jessica Hazel, Kentville; three step-sons, Brian Dill, Alberta; Trevor Dill, Alberta; Lennie Johnstone, Kentville; a step-daughter, Pamela Dill, Calgary; a sister, Peggy Hamlin, The Forties; a brother, George, Edmonton; many grandchildren; a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Hiscock; her life partner, Arnold Dill; a daughter, Lisa; two step-sons, Dwayne and Herbert (in infancy); three brothers, Sam, Fred and Garfield; a step-grandson, Lucas. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Robin Foster officiating. Burial took place in the Hillaton Cemetery, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to the Kings County S.P.C.A.
