Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 16, 2015 Worick Smith of Clarenville, aged 89 years. Predeceased by his parents George & Amelia, brothers Albert and Donald; sisters Emma Smith, Ethel Barfett, and Joyce Vey. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Annie of 58 years; their children Christine (Randy) Eddy, Roger (Elaine), Edward (Donna), Fay, Peggy (Roy); grandchildren Barry, Michael, Jackie, Sheena and Amelia; great grandchildren Ryan, Alex, Tyler and Jaxson; sisters Emma Lambert, Marguerite (Mark) Avery, brother John (Ethel) and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at the Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville. In his memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
