Passed peacefully away at the Caribou Memorial Veterans' Pavilion in St. John's, surrounded by his loving family in his 92nd year, Walter David Paul Jamieson, predeceased by his wife Phyllis (nee Wheeler) in 2011; his parents John "Jack" and Elizabeth "Bessie" (nee Rose); his brothers Edward, Alexander, John and Andrew and his sister, Sr. Mary Elizabeth R.S.M. Walter leaves to mourn his children Paula (Yanis) Magalios, Scott (Anne Thareau), Chris (Elsie Walbourne), Dianne (Larry Cohen), Susan, Brenda (Rick Vaughan), Barry and Victoria (Simon Kirby); his grandchildren Jessica, Rosa and Stella Magalios, Elise Jamieson, Katie and Steven Jamieson, Ruth Renner, Ivan and Charlie Cohen, Bridget Henley, Isaac and Emma Connors, Hannah and Ethan Kirby; great-grandchildren Megan, Danika and Ashlyn; sister Elizabeth (Richard Pike) as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 9:30 am with inurnment to follow at Forest Road Anglican Columbarium. In lieu of flowers donations in Walter's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
