On Monday, October 19, 2015, Albert Edison Norman passed away suddenly at the age of 64 years. A husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, Albert will be forever remembered by his wife Mary Jane, their children, Catherine (Mark Lundrigan) and Albert (Leslie Norman), grandchildren, Lydia and Sam, by his mother Barbara Norman, by his brothers and sister, Alan (Betty), Barry (Cynthia), Jim (Carol) and Sarah (Wayne), by his sisters-in-law, Vianne (Roger), Gail (Mike), and his brother-in-law Sam (Rhonda). Predeceased by his father Jordan, his brother Douglas (Hedy), and his sister Cynthia. Albert will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Albert was an active grandfather, involved in his church, and an avid gardener. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and then on Wednesday from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m., 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at the Cupids United Church on Thursday, October 22, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Cupids. Memorial donations in memory of Albert may be made to the Cupids United Church or a charity of one's choice. Flowers gratefully accepted, or Albert would certainly smile to know that a flower (or two) was planted in his memory.
