MUISE, Della Benita - Age 90, Yarmouth NS, born in Lower Melbourne, Yarmouth County on July 22, 1925, passed on October 18, 2015 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was the daughter the late of Steve F. and Georgine Anne (LeBlanc) Doucette. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Karen Muise, Pleasant Lake; her son Glenn and daughter-in-law Roberta (Bobbie) Muise, Yarmouth; her granddaughters Leslee (Aaron) LeBlanc, Arcadia; Ashlee Muise, Edmonton, AB; Karlee Muise (Matt Seymour), Fredricton, NB; Emilee Muise, Yarmouth; her ducky, grandson Patrick Muise, Yarmouth; her little monkeys, great grandsons Jaden and Parker and her two angels, great granddaughters Harper and Charlee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Della was a “special grandmother” to the 19 international students hosted by Glenn and Bobbie. Each was welcome in her home and at her table. Gram was a generous person with a hidden strength and stubbornness that few got to see. Her sense of humour served her well right to the end. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 36 years Leonard Henry Muise and brothers Peter, James, John and Edmund, sisters Mary Rose, Fanny, Lily and Dorothy. She will always be remembered by family, friends and neighbours for her baking, especially her coconut pies and fudge. She enjoyed feeding everyone who visited. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, 29 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS. Cremation has already taken place and a memorial service celebrating Della’s life was held on Thursday, October 22 in the Huskilson’s Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m., Rev.
