Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Health Sciences Centre after a long battle with Liver Disease. Gary Joseph Pittman, age 55 years. Predeceased by his father William Sears; son William Pittman; grandson Blake Peddle and brother Tony Pittman. Leaving to mourn the love of his life his wife of 33 years Connie; his mother Joan Sears; daughters Dawn (Mark Carew) and Karen (Dan Peddle)' son Adam (Donna); brother Ken (Bev); Papa's six beloved grandchildren Emma, Nevaeh, Ryder, Cruz, Liam and Jesse; his best buddy Gordon Byrd as well as a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to Gilbert Sheppard, Liz and Leo Hamilton and the nurses and staff on 4 South B at the Health Sciences Centre for their love and compassion during our time of need. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in his memory to the Legacy of Life Organ and Tissue Donation, Nova Scotia.
