Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at St. John's Long Term Care Facility on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in his 72nd year. Predeceased by his parents Leslie & Kathleen Chafe; brother Leslie; and sister-in-law Dianne. Left with cherished memories are his loving wife Pauline; daughter Petrina (Frank); four sons: James (Marlene), Patrick (Rose), Kenneth (Darlene), and Darrell (Danielle); grandchildren: Dominique, Cassandra, Nikolas, Sophie, Katelyn, Emily, Patrick (Meghan), Sarah, Tylor, and Travis; great-grandson Brody; sister Pearl (Duncan); brothers: Howard, Eric (Donna), and Douglas (Anna); also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Thank you to all the staff at St. John Long Term Care Facility, and special thanks to Carl and Theresa for all of your wonderful support. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday, October 22nd, from 7:00pm-9:00pm; and on Friday, October 23rd, from 10:00am-9:00pm. Christian Mass to be from St. Kevin's Church, Goulds, on Saturday, October 24th, at 10:00am. Cremation to follow.
