GAIL ANTHONY
Card of Thanks
Gail Anthony
The family of the late Gail Anthony would like to thank all of our family and friends for the support shown to us after her passing. Gail’s kindness and caring were evident in the number of people who came to show their respect to us during this very difficult time. To all who came to the funeral home and her service, we appreciate the time you took to be with us, and to share your love of Gail. We enjoyed the many stories and memories which were shared.
We appreciate our family and friends who traveled to be with us, we had many people come from near and far to celebrate Gail’s life with us. It meant so much to us that you were able to be there. To her “Work Family” your kindness and support will never be forgotten; she loved being with you all every day and we are sure you miss her as we do.
To the staff in Ambulatory care and ICU, thank you so much for your kindness and compassion, you made Gail comfortable both every day and in her final hours, and for that we will always be grateful. Dr. Brake, your honesty and comfort during her stay in ICU was what helped us through. We can never thank you enough for this and for allowing us to treat Gail as she would have wanted.
To everyone who called, sent food to our homes, sent online condolences and cards, thank you. We were able to cope much better with our grief knowing just how much people cared for her, and for us. We would also like to thank all the people who made donations in Gail’s name, this truly is a lasting legacy for her.
To the staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel, Minister Norma Mills, Soloist Marilyn MacDonald-MacKinnon and Organist Debbie Keating, thank you for giving Gail the celebration of her life that she would have wanted. Gail left a lasting mark on many people, and for this she will always be remembered. There is a huge void now that we will never be able to fill, but the many kindnesses shown to us over the last number of weeks have helped to make us stronger. Thank You.
