McGEE, AVIS MAY
The death of Avis McGee of McAdam occurred on October 24th, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born February 3rd, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Florence (Buchanan) Biggar and wife of the late Carl McGee.
Avis is survived by her children, Ron McGee (Mildred) of Fredericton and Janis Mullin (Mel) of Fredericton; her four grandchildren, Carla Smith, Jay T McGee, Jason Lyons (Necia) and Mike McGee (Nicole); six great-grandchildren; one sister, Laura Priest of Waterville, Carleton County as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Carl; her daughter, Linda McGee; her son, Reg McGee and her siblings, Rillie McLean and Ralphie Biggar.
Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York Street, Fredericton) on Monday, October 26th, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral will be held at the Voice of Pentecost Church (84 Harvey Road, McAdam) on Tuesday, October 27th, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Bigger officiating.
