Surrounded by her loving family at the Garden Home on Friday, October 23, 2015 of Eleanor Mary Cheverie (nee Hughes), Charlottetown, age 76 years. Eleanor is now with her loving husband Howard Cheverie.
She is the beloved and cherished mother of David Cheverie (Rosanne), Donna McInnis (Peter) and Debbie Dodds (Richard) and Nanny to Riley Cheverie and Erin Dodds. Sister of Ruth Shea (Cecil), Pat Sherren (Barry), Melvin Hughes (Gail), Lornie Hughes (Marlene), Bernice Doyle (Eugene) and Dianne Ostridge (Lawrence). Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and by her sisters and brothers-in-law Pius Cheverie, George Cheverie, Margaret Gillis and Dottie MacDonald.
Predeceased by her parents Emmett E. and Margaret M. (Kelly) Hughes and by her brother and sisters-in-law Joe Cheverie, Katherine Carroll and Mary Ann Sweeney.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Monday 4-7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
St. Pius X CWL will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
