Surrounded by the love of his family, James (Jim) Carew, aged 82 years, passed peacefully away, with quiet dignity in the manner in which he lived, on October 25th, 2015 at the Palliative Care Miller Center. Left with loving memories are his wife of 50 years Winnie (nee Bindon), and his treasured children and grandchildren whom he adored: son Jim (wife: Caroline and children James, Jennifer and Samantha), daughter Maria (husband: Dan and children Claire and Christian Reynolds). Also leaving to mourn his loving nieces and nephews, the Bulley family in Halifax, and the Carew families in St. John's and on the mainland.
