It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Parsons announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her daughters: Jennifer Parsons (Andy Park) and Karen Whelan (Justin); grandchildren: Jenna Parsons, Austin Whelan, and Avery Whelan; siblings: Valda Randell, Ron Taylor, and Frank Taylor; siblings-in-law: Irving (Sara) Parsons, Phyllis Russell (Jim Street), Gladys (Tom) Mugford, Elaine (Carl) Tucker, Dulcie (Ralph) Osmond, and Irene Taylor; her best friend Marg (Gerald) Sharp, as well as a large circle of nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill); parents Hayward and Ethel Taylor; parents-in-law Reginald and Violet Parsons; siblings: Leonard Taylor, Hayward Taylor, Minnie (Boyce) Sharpe, Violet (Andrew) Purchase, Eileen (Gerald) Kingsley, and Doris (Jimmy) Breedlove, brother-in-law Hayward Randell. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. from Humber United Church with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Humber Untied Church.
