Passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital, on Sunday, November 1, 2015, Charles Davis Garland of Harbour Grace, age 88 years. Predeceased by parents: James A. and Dorothy; brother: Cyril; infant brother: Max; two sisters: Frances Fielding and Phyllis Garland. Leaving to mourn, wife: May; two daughters: Pamela (Thomas) Stewart, St. Bernard's and Glenda (Don) Coombs, Harbour Grace; two sons: Derrick (Ethel), Harbour Grace and James (Krista), Paradise; seven beautiful granddaughters: Penni, Gillian, Mallory, Paige, Courtney, Marisa and Briana; one brother: Neville (Alice), Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Sunday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
