Rita LeBlanc, 85, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Sunday, November 1st, 2015, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Dieppe, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and the late Leontine (née: Melanson) Surette.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. LeBlanc worked at Sears, she was a devoted member and volunteer at the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe, St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Catholic Women’s League and Ste-Thérèse parish.
She is survived by her husband, Gérard F., and will also be sadly missed by her immediate family: Dorice, Guy, Anne, André and Richard, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Yvonne and also by one brother, Tilmon.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 1 pm until time of departure. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, N.B., on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 at 2 pm. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
