Gordon Wilson, 86, of New Victoria, passed away on Nov. 1, 2015, at home.
Born in New Waterford and raised in New Victoria, he was a son of the late Jim and Rose Wilson.
Gordon was a coal miner in the area for many years.
Surviving are his son, Ernie Wilson, New Victoria; brothers, Sandy Wilson, New Victoria and Doug Wilson, West Coast; sisters, Jeanie Snook, Port Hawkesbury and Margaret Keizer, Dartmouth; several grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his spouse, Faye Agnew and daughter, Sally.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. A funeral service will be held out of town at a later date.
