Madeleine Mary passed gently and peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Monday, November 2, 2015, at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Ned) Walsh; Son, Eugene and Grandson, Toby; parents, Clara and Thomas Donovan; brothers: Ambrose, Martin, Steven and William; sisters: Mary and Mercedes, and their spouses. Also predeceased by brothers in law: Patrick, Leo, William, Dennis, Joseph and sisters in law: Alice Walsh, Nora Mercer, Mary Gover, and Betty Sullivan. She leaves to mourn her children: Robert (Linda), Paul (Marjorie), Dianne (Leonard), and Gary (Karen), her grandchildren: Todd, Kelly, Harry, Holly, Michael, David, Mark & Andrew and their families. Also leaving to mourn daughter in law Mary Snelgrove and brothers in law, Kevin (Marie) and Alf Sullivan (Mary); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. Madeleine will also be remembered by her friends and the staff at the Karwood Retirement Retreat. Madeleine was an active member of the Catholic Women's League and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Rd on Wednesday, November 4, from 6pm-9pm and Thursday, November 5th, from 12pm - 9pm. Funeral mass will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church in Paradise, on Friday, November 6th, 2015, at 11 am, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or, donations in Madeleine's memory may be made to The Cerebral Palsy Foundation or to the ALS foundation.
