MacKENZIE, ELEANOR RUTH
1926 - 2015
Eleanor MacKenzie of the K.E. Spencer Memorial Nursing Home, formerly of Salisbury Rd., passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015. Born in Petitcodiac, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Bessie (Ferguson) Murree.
She was a member of Uplands Baptist Church, as well as the Monday Morning Merry Makers and had retired from the K. E. Spencer Memorial Nursing Home in 1989.
She will be dearly missed by her loving son, Clifford “Skip” and his wife, Cheryl MacKenzie, as well as her four-legged companion, Sasha.
Eleanor was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by her parents; an infant brother, Clifford; sisters: Gertrude, Evelyn, Pauline and Joyce; and her beloved husband, Gordon.
A private graveside service will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB (869-2007).
Donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family.
