It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, brother and uncle, Sheldon Joseph Forrest, 50, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at the Northside General Hospital, surrounded by his large and loving family.
Born on Jan. 23, 1965, Sheldon was the son of the late Edward and Annie Mae (Steele) Forrest.
Sheldon was a loyal employee of Scotsburn Dairy for the last 36 years. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and enjoyed playing hockey and baseball. Sheldon was a mentor and inspiration to the hundreds of children he coached in baseball and hockey over the past 30 years.
Sheldon is survived by the love of his life, wife Carolyn and the two people who brought him the most happiness in life, son, Kyle; daughter, Jenna, and her partner, Dan. Also left to mourn are his sisters, Paula (John Davis), Patsy (Lenny Cousins), Ann Marie (James McCormick) and Eleanor (Bernard Rasmussen); brothers, Eddy (Heather), Blaine (Julie) and Collie (Charlene); his extended Squarey family, many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his two favourite fur babies, Tyson and Benny Paws.
Besides his parents, Sheldon was predeceased by his grandparents, Edward and Annie Forrest, Colin and Annie Mae Steele, and his best friend, Russell MacDonald.
At this time we would like to express our most sincere gratitude to Dr. Andrew Wawer, 4 West nursing staff, and all the family and friends for their generosity through this most difficult time.

"Best friends to no end, Dad."
