William Webster

Date de naissance : 20 avril 1945

Date de décès : 3 juillet 2015

Willie passed away at the age of 70 years in Enderby Hospice after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Peterborough, ON where he lived until his late twenties. In 1972, he decided to move to the west coast and have an adventure. His love of the great outdoors is what drew him to BC. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, and drink beer too (lol). He worked as a millwright for most of his life, working primarily in the forest industry in Mackenzie, BC. This is where he made a life with his wife Lisa and her two children Lynn and Jake. When the kids grew up they moved to Dawson Creek, BC where they spent the next twenty five years. Willie will be fondly remembered by the many people whose lives he touched while working at the Rotary Manor, Peace Haven, and Pouce Coupe Care Home. In 2013 they decided to retire and move to the warmer climate of the Okanagan Valley to be closer to their children. He also really loved fixing things and rebuilding stuff in his shop. He was predeceased by his parents Art and Kathleen Webster; sisters: Betty Jones, Alda Webster; and brother: Jim Webster. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 34 years Lisa Webster; stepdaughter: Lynn Reading (Jamey); stepson: Jake Hebert; daughter: Chrystal (Jacob) Thompson; and son: Dale Thwaites; brothers: Art (Barb), Alex (Julia); sisters: Kathleen Smith (Tom), Marion Webster (Ron); and sister-in-law: Dorreen (Pete). Internment and celebration of life at a later date in Lakefield, ON. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAlternatives.ca
