It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wayne Hicks announce his passing on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 62 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Christine, children: Joey, Angela (John), Wayne (Nicole), and Adam, grandson: Brody, father: Howard, brother: Larry (Paula), sisters: Marilyn (Roy), Katherine (Todd), brothers-in-law: George, Bill (Margaret), Doug (Enid), Iven (Sylvia), Keith, Terry (Kathy), and Frank, sisters-in-law: Jeanetta (Rejean), Sadie (Randy), Fern and Catherine, as well as a circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He also leaves to mourn a very special buddy Wally (Faye), and very special friends and co-workers at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. He was predeceased by his mother: Gwendolyn, parents-in-law: Dorothy and Ernest Power, brothers-in-law: Wince, and Albert, sister-in-law Wilma. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday and Friday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Humber United Church Clarence Street on Saturday, November 7th, at 2 PM with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
