The family of the late Florence Somerton of Glace Bay would like to express their thanks for all the kindness shown to them during the recent passing of our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Thank You to everyone who offered expressions of condolescences through flowers, food, emails, calls, funeral home visitation and made donations in her memory. Our grateful thanks to the EHS Paramedics, Glace Bay ER Staff and Regional Hospital ER Staff for their support, kindness and compassionate care. Thank You to Rev. Carol Gillard and Florence’s Grandchildren (Courtney, Taylor, Morgan, Breanna and Hunter) who provided a beautiful service and send-off to a remarkable lady. For thoughtful professional guidance throughout, we thank Cordell and staff of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home. Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please be assured your acts of kindness will remain with us.
