William “Bill” Lawrence Fillmore
William “Bill” L. Fillmore, 82, of Steeves Mountain and formerly of Ontario, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Born in Deer Ridge, Saskatchewan, he was son of the late Harvey and Minnie (Dunn) Fillmore. Bill was a retired truck driver and lived in Ontario most of his adult life. He loved traveling East every summer to visit with his family.
Bill will be sadly missed by his children and grandchildren; brothers, Alfred and Carman Fillmore; sisters, Pelma Steeves and Vivian Bell. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his soul mate, Elizabeth Helen Fillmore (Scovil), also by brothers, Lloyd and Walter; sisters, Edna, Margaret and Florence.
Public graveside service to be held at St. James Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Beersville, on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 am.
