It is great sadness that the family of the late Cecil Osmond announces his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Monday November 9th, 2015 in his 80th year. Cecil leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Una nee Payne; his children Thomas (Madonna), Gary (Margaret); his grandchildren Melissa (Daniel Francis), Robert, Travis, Robbie Osmond (Sarah Bromley); his daughter-in-law Lisa Osmond; siblings Ben (Mildred), Tom (Betty), Gerald, Alex (Geraldine), Reginald (Alice), Chesley (Shirley), Charle (Rose), and Walter (Rachel). Cecil has been predeceased by his parents Fred and Harriett Osmond; son Bobby Osmond; and sister-in-law Mary. Family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Wednesday November 11th, 2015, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church in Deer Lake on Thursday, November 12th, 2015, at 2 pm. with Rev. Paulette Bugden officiating, with the burial to take place at the Anglican Section of the Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight's Road in Deer Lake.
