LYNN JOYCE MACKIN (MORRISON)
MARCH 15, 1950 – NOVEMBER 13, 2015
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lynn Joyce Mackin (Morrison) on November 13, 2015 in Saint John, N.B. at the age of 65.

Beloved mother of Melanie Ann Mackin. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Kevin Mackin in 2010. Daughter of the late Dan and Hazel (Joyce) Morrison. Lynn leaves behind and will be greatly missed by her loving and caring daughter, Melanie, her four sisters, Jane Gandy (Bill), Susan Melvin (Bill), Dale Keir (Bob), and Tiena Arseneau (Andy). Lynn will be lovingly remembered and is much loved by her many nieces, nephews and a special family friend, Dawn Carson. She is also survived by her brother -in-law Brian Mackin (Jane), Gregory Mackin (Genessca), sister -in-law Brenda McGraw (Paul) and Sharon Byrne.

Lynn lived her life with an abundance of love and kindness and she will be missed by all. She was a loving mother who always put her daughter Melanie first and was guided by a Deep Faith in God. She had a big heart, quiet strength and a positive attitude. For years, Lynn enjoyed the summers spent at the family cottage, 2nd Lake, Loch Lomond.

Special thanks to the Dialysis Team at the Saint John Regional Hospital, and the Extra Mural Team for their incredible care and kindness. Thank you to a very special caregiver, Jodi Goguen and the many caregivers for their unwavering dedication to Lynn. Thank you Dr. Graham MacNeil and Shelly, who went above and beyond on several occasions.

Visitation will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, N.B. 646-2424 on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 12:10 pm. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s cemetery.
