DALEY, Gerald “Gerry” A. It’s with heavy hearts that our family announces his very sudden passing on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, 71 years young. Born in Ottawa, Ontario he was a safety officer at the shipyards in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Loretta; daughter Cathy (Joe); brothers, Bob, Joe, Richard; sister, Mary; 6 granddaughters; 2 great granddaughters. His hobbies included spending time with his grandchildren, painting, travelling and fishing. He was a member of the Lions Club and a grateful member of AA. The family is spread across Canada from Woods Harbour Nova Scotia to Ucluelet, British Columbia and many provinces in between. At the moment there will not be an immediate funeral as Gerry has donated his body to Dalhousie University. His laughter and love of life will be missed.
