Audrey Albert
ALBERT, AUDREY ELIZABETH
After a brief, yet courageous battle with cancer, Audrey E. (Wilson) Albert, wife of the late Lionel Albert, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Bobby’s Hospice with family by her side. Audrey’s birth certificate states that she was born in Saint John on December 17, 1927, graceful in all that she did, and even knowing that a lady “never tells her age”, Audrey swears that a mix up in record keeping occurred and she was actually born in 1933. This story always made Audrey’s children and grandchildren smile.
Audrey was an avid reader and also enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and liked to bowl in her earlier days. She was an independent lady, quiet and private in her daily life. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren. This strong and capable lady will be forever loved and missed by her family.
Audrey is survived by her sons Mike (Joan), Daniel (Maxine) and Mark; daughters Terri LeBanc, Debbie Arseneault (Tony), Janie Albert (Bobby Stevens) and Betsy Hill; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and her loyal feline companion Charlie.
Along with her husband, she was predeceased by her son Timothy Albert, daughter Suzanne Albert and daughter-in-law Linda McIntyre.
Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) As per her request, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will take place Thursday, November 19, 2015 from St. Ann’s Catholic Church at 12 noon followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Remembrances in memory of Audrey would be appreciated to Bobby’s Hospice.
