Surrounded by his loving family after a courageous and dignified battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the death of Clinton A. MacGorman of Quispamsis on November 16, 2015.
Predeceased by his father Clinton Sr., mother Evelyn (Northrup), brother Malcom David and nephew Michael.
Clint is survived by his loving wife Barbara (nee Mullett), brother Ronald wife Yvonne (nee Graham); children David wife Brenda (nee Ferguson), Gayle MacGorman and Clint Jr. (Butch) wife Pat McGarity, as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. Loving Puppy to Jessica Wilhelm (Blair), Katelyn Kimball finance Josh Reid, and Richard MacGorman (Sydney Fulton); also survived by his special friend Cory Kingston and his canine companion Cujo.
After his service in the Canadian Navy from 1957-1962, Clint worked at Burns, Swifts, Meats and Canada Packers before starting his career at Irving Paper in 1964 and retiring in 1997.
The family would like to express our profound thanks to the staff at Bobby’s Hospice for all of their professionalism and care for our family during this trying time.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitations. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1 p.m., followed by a reception. Interment will take place in St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Gondola Point.
