Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Jessie M. Butt of Carbonear, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband: George; parents: George and Dora Butt; brother: Charles; sisters: Olive, Mae and Ida. Leaving to mourn, one son: Roy W. (Gloria), St. John's; two daughters: Patricia (Raymond) Mills and Margaret (Bob) Mills, both of Grand Falls - Windsor; six grandchildren: Trudy, Kimberly (Rodney), Wanda (Guy), Nancy (Peter), Chad (Margaux) and Matthew (Amanda); nine great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Nathan, Jared, Timothy, Gregory, Kailee, Macy, Hudson and Maelle; sister: Phronie Morris, Colbourne, ON; sister-in-law: Eleanor Butt, Carbonear; special nephew: Carl (Marie) Power, Truro, NS; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
