Passed away suddenly at her home in Mount Pearl on November 18, 2015. Phyllis Kathleen Toope, aged 58 yrs. Predeceased by her parents, Stuart and Jessie Toope. Leaving to mourn, son Paul, sisters, Karen Christopher (Ray): Berdina Ford (Ray): Dianne Toope: Brothers: Wayne (Teresa): Randy (Della): Keith(Karen): Ernest (Diane); Nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Phyllis was very much involved in her community, Scouting and Guiding, Lions International, Tops and she played the role of FROSTY in the Mount Pearl Frosty Winter Festival for approximately 20 years. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Carnell's Funeral home 1045 Topsail Rd. on Sunday from 7-9 p.m., Monday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held at Church of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive, Mount Pearl on Tuesday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Anglican Cemetery, Port Rexton at a later date.
