(nee Burry) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Saturday, March 29, 2008, Trixie Margaret Hawkins (nee Burry) of Greenspond, Bonavista Bay, age 90 years, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Malcom (Mac) Hawkins in 1978. Leaving to mourn with their cherished memories, three daughters: Shirley (Harold) Hogan of St. John's, Betty (Frank) Baxtrom of Holyrood and Gale (Os) Barfitt of Paradise; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother Douglas (Lillian) Burry; sister-in-law Lilly Burry; three stepbrothers Everett LeDrew, Toby LeDrew (Violet), Gerald LeDrew (May) and many other nieces, nephews and friends; especially her circle of friends at Hillcrest Estates. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and then on Sunday from 10 am-12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Barrett's Chapel on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
