Carpenter, Ralph Charles
With heavy hearts, the family of Ralph “Ralphie” Carpenter announce his passing, which occurred on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Bobby’s Hospice. He was born in Saint John, NB on December 5, 1946. Ralphie was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Minnie (Boone) Carpenter and his older brother, David Carpenter.
Ralphie will be missed by his partner, Sharon Gotell; daughter, Charlene Madazli (Murat); younger brother, Kelly and his family - Cathy-Anne, Alexander and Katie; his sisters and their families, Mary Danaher, Pat Carpenter, Roberta Whitcomb (Richard) and Mary Ellen Carpenter.
Ralphie was an entrepreneur in everything from trucking to fishing. He was active in his community, as a member of Masonic Carleton Union Lodge #8, Scottish Rite, Orange Lodge and Knights of Pythias.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to his extra mural nurse, Ralph Anderson, and the staff of Bobby’s Hospice.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425) with visiting on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Masonic Tribute service will take place Sunday at 7:00 pm. At Ralphie’s request, a private funeral service will be held for family only.
