PHELAN, KENNETH P.
1951 - 2015
Miramichi - Kenneth Patrick Phelan, husband of Yvonne Wray, of Fenton St., Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, November 27, 2015, at the age of 64. Born in Montreal, on October 19, 1951, he was the son of Mary Ann (Vetter) Phelan and the late Joseph B. Phelan.
He was a carpenter by trade and worked in the construction industry with Savco Construction, Miramichi. He attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi.
He is survived by his wife, the former Yvonne Hallihan; one son, Kenny Phelan, of South Carolina, USA; two step daughters, Donna Wray, of Miramichi, Lisa Vickers (Rob), of Toronto, Ont.; one step-son, David Wray (Pearl), of Miramichi; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Carol Lalonde (Ivan), of Abbotsford, BC, Arlene Schouten (Hank), of Mission, BC, Maureen Kirdy, of Ottawa, Ont., Laurel Phelan-Weldon (Colm), of Chilliwack, BC; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father.
Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michaels Basilica, on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11am, conducted by Father John Bowmaster. Interment will be in the St. Michaels Cemetery, Miramichi.
