It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peter Buckle announce his passing on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Della (nee Chaulk); children: Brendan Buckle and Dawn Buckle (Damian Joyce); brothers and sisters: Frank (Jill) Buckle, Heather Buckle (Billy Saunders), Grace (Ray) Earle, Brenda Ramsden, Lena Hart and Mike Buckle; parents-in-law Gordon and Madge Chaulk; sister-in-law Barbara Chaulk and brother-in-law Bruce Chaulk; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Brendan and Elizabeth Buckle. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 1 at 11:00 a.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Captains Cory and Pamela Pinksen officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
