Passed away at St. Clares Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Saturday, November 28, 2015, Lawrence Vey of Long Beach, aged 82 years. Predeceased by parents John and Annie; brothers Howard and Robert. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Myrna of 54 years; daughter Kim Spurrell (John); grandson Jonathan (Vicky); great grandson Jude; sister Frances Smith (Bill); brother John (Dorothy); sisters-in-law Doris Vey, Maude Brooks, Helen Moritz (Hans) and Freda Janes (Wayne MacDonald); brothers-in-law Freeman Brooks (Rosanne) and Clarence Brooks (Georgie); niece Rosalind Brooks; and a circle of family and friends. Rested at St. Marks Anglican Church, Long Beach. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at St. Marks Anglican Church, Long Beach with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Long Beach. In his memory donations may be made to St. Marks Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
