Pat passed away at Christenson Village care home in Gibsons after a courageous battle with dementia. Pat was born in Nanton, Alberta to Margereth and Sigurd Berger, where she had many fond memories of growing up with her brother Ken on the farm, surrounded by a large family, many of whom had immigrated with her parents from Norway in the early 1900s. Pat spent her teens years in Burnaby, then met and married George Robinson in 1951, raising two children, while living in Burnaby, Surrey and New Westminster.
Pat was a hard worker, and in 1973, found her passion in real estate, where she excelled as a top producer for many years for Block Brothers Realty and later with Georgia Pacific Realty. Pat loved to travel to sunny destinations, many times visiting with family and friends.
Pat will be missed by many, but will live on in her family, brother Ken (Mary Nell), son Brad (Shelley), daughter Colleen (Bruce), and as Nana to her grandchildren, Shannon, Kim, Riley and Kara, her step-grandsons, Josh and Nathan, and her great-grandsons, Mathew and Cole.
As per Pat's wishes, no service will be held, but a celebration of life will take place next summer with a return to Nanton.
